The European Football Association (UEFA) have reportedly extended their deal with Topps which will see the trading card company create non-fungible tokens (NFTs) for them.

It’s been discussed that these new collectables are set to be released in 2021/22 and include players from all three competitions: UEFA Champions League, UEFA Women’s Champions League and UEFA Europa League, as well as the newly launched UEFA Conference League.

As UEFA’s exclusive partner for collectibles, we are not only taking a huge step towards the future together, but we’re also taking collectibles to the next level.

Topps chief marketing officer Patrick Rausch

For six years Topps has been the official partner of the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and UEFA Women’s Champions League. According to Topps, “the collector business is booming and has increased even more during the Covid-19 pandemic.”

Topps is coming back with an eye-catching collection of trading cards and stickers that will make your favorite moments pop. They’ll be available in 2021/22 for the first time as NFTs, so you can get them quick before they’re gone!
